While tens of thousands of fans cheered inside Raymond James Stadium, four young men from UT allegedly broke into five cars in the parking lot. They had almost gotten away with $1,300 in property when an alert citizen notified police. One of them had marijuana on him.

Another had a drug that heroin fiends use to numb their addiction. Police found iPods and cash in a UT backpack that belonged to them. They spent the night in jail, and came back unwelcome on campus.

Police say they broke into cars, and that they had various drugs on them. They were caught with $1,300 in stolen property.

And then the police impounded their car and took them all to jail.
Four UT students were charged with multiple counts of breaking into vehicles and drug possession outside USF’s football game Thursday night.

Matthew “Dewey” Falzo, William Wise, Ben Howley and Eric Gross were charged after being caught breaking into cars in the parking lot at Raymond James Stadium.

Police said sometime after 9:40 p.m. Howley and Gross broke into a 2008 Honda and a 2001 Buick and stole $650 worth of items from the two vehicles.

Howley was found with a stolen iPod and cash, and Gross admitted to breaking into at least three cars, police said.

Falzo was found with Suboxone, a drug that is used to assist with opium dependency, and all four admitted to underage drinking, records showed.
They were found with a black UT backpack that had stolen electronics in it and admitted to the burglaries, police said.

Falzo, a sophomore, was charged with possession of buprenorphine, a drug also used to assist with opium dependency.
He was also booked for three counts of burglary, two of petit theft and two of grand theft.

He was released from the Orient Road Jail on $18,000 bond.
Wise, a junior, received 13 charges.

He had three counts of burglary, two counts of petit theft, two of grand theft in the third degree, possession of cannabis, and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He also had a charge for underage alcohol possession. He was released on $14,750 bail.

Howley, a junior, was charged with 11 different crimes.
The charges include burglary, grand theft in the third degree, petit theft in the third degree, criminal mischief, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and an underage alcohol charge.
He was released on $11,250 bail.

Gross, a junior, received five charges, including burglary, grand theft in the third degree, petit theft in the third degree, and criminal mischief.
He was released on $7,000 bail.

According to Bob Ruday, Dean of Students, the four students have been summarily suspended and are not allowed on campus until the hearing date, which has not been scheduled.
